Abstract: A gathering of manuscripts related to a variety of composers and musical performers, arranged into two series: I. Scores, and II. Letters and Other Manuscripts. The bulk of the collection is made up of piano and vocal music manuscripts (individual pieces as well as collections of opera arias and popular songs) and manuscripts for instrumental music. Early items include a score for Il trionfo di Camilla by Giovanni Bononcini (1670-1747) and part books for operas by Jean-Baptiste Lully (1632-1687) and his student Pascal Collasse (1649-1709).
