Abstract:
Includes manuscripts and letters
written by the American short-story writer known as O. Henry, whose real name
was
William Sydney Porter. Some of the manuscripts were written for his daughter
Margaret and include drawings by Porter. Correspondents include his wives (Athol
Estes Porter and Sara Coleman Porter), members of the Roach family (Athol's
parents), and others.
