English essayist and literary critic Cyril Connolly, including several versions

his The Unquiet Grave (1944). Some letters are also
included, written either to or from Paul Bowles, Aldous Huxley, Augustus John,
Henry
Miller, Stephen Spender, Dylan Thomas, Vernon Watkins, Evelyn Waugh, and others.
Also present are responses to a Horizon questionnaire
from Elizabeth Bowen, E. M. Forster, Graham Greene and thirteen others.
