The collection consists of 24 pictures (23 photographic prints and 1 photogravure), the majority of which are portraits of Elbert Hubbard (American, 1856-1915), author, publisher, philosopher, and founder of the the Roycroft arts and crafts community in East Aurora, New York. Item 997:0079:0126 was removed from a copy of Hubbard's Little Journeys to the Homes of Eminent Orators Beecher (East Aurora, N.Y.: Roycrofters, 1903) that is located in the Center's library (call number PN 4012 H7 1903 HRC). An index at the end of this guide lists photographers whose work is featured in this file. Further descriptions of some items may be available in a card catalog in the repository. | ||
