Abstract: The collection of British writer Ernest Bramah (pseudonym of Ernest Bramah Smith) contains correspondence, manuscripts, and third-party materials. Much of the Miscellaneous series is material collected by Bramah when he worked as secretary to British humorist Jerome K. Jerome and later as a staff member on the periodicals Today and The Idler as well as for Grosvenor Press. This collection was originally cataloged under the name Ernest Bramah Smith, but has been changed in this finding aid to the current preferred name form of Ernest Bramah; the previous name form remains on the small catalog slips filed with each item.
