Incoming correspondence dominates the collection, with letters from W. H. Auden, Richard Beard, Cecil Beaton, Max Ernst, Leonor Fini, Charles Henri Ford, Louis Jouvet, Lincoln Kirstein, Nicholas Magallanes, Yves Tanguy, father Fyodor Sergeyevitch Tchelitchew, Parker Tyler, sister Alexandra Fyodorovna Zaoussailoff, and numerous others. Some letters to Tchelitchew are also addressed to his partner, Charles Henri Ford.</abstract>
