The William John Locke Literary File Photography Collection consists of 28 items, including
many portraits of Locke alone or with others. Additional subjects include his parents,
Charlie Locke, Topley Williams, and Herbert Hoover as well as Locke's rooms at college. An
index at the end of this guide lists photographers whose work is featured in this file.
Further descriptions of some items may be available in a card catalog in the repository.
This file forms a part of the Literary Files Photography Collection that is comprised of
photographs and albums withdrawn from the libraries and/or papers of literary figures, and
generally includes portraits and images collected by or of those figures.
