The man in the dark sweater is Millard Boyd. This area of the store sold glassware, buckets, flower pots, bird cages, hand tools, leather strapping, covered roasters, pots and pans, and steamers. Advertised are G.E. refrigerators. Note the footballs suspended from the ceiling with a basketball in the center and the model sailing ship, "The Margaret," which was built by Captain Andy Anderson.
