Summary: This Richard Brinsley Sheridan comedy was produced by the Players Club in Joseph Jefferson's version with three acts and seven scenes. Staged by William Seymour, with settings and lighting by Bel Geddes, there were eight performances at the Empire Theatre in New York beginning 5 June 1922, with Tyrone Power, Francis Wilson, Robert Warwick, Mary Shaw, and Patricia Collinge.
