Description:

Approximately 27,375 gelatin silver prints, 10,000 negatives, as well as albums, clippings, correspondence, manuscript materials, and ephemera document the career and life of artist Frederic Allen Williams (American, 1898-1958), from the 1890s through 1955, with the bulk from after the 1920s. The collection includes subject files and research materials, documentation of artwork by Williams, and personal and family photos.

Also included is one gelatin silver banquet panoramic print (958:0116:0001) by Alexander Archer, of the 26th Annual World Championship Rodeo, Cowboy & Cowgirls contestants, Madison Square Garden, New York City, September 26 to October 21, 1951.
