Description:

The collection consists of seventy-two prints, including gelatin silver printing-out paper prints and cyanotypes (973:0003:0030-0031, 0038, 0040) by Henry Roberts. The images document various aspects of the Spanish-American War of 1898 in and around Cuba including: ships at sea; General Garcia in Cuba; pictures of sailors, lieutenants, captains and generals; Red Cross workers; and British press correspondents.
