The collection consists of 94 pictures, the bulk of which are portraits of Reginald Harvey Griffith (American, 1873-1957) and his family including his wife Alice Mary Matlock (American, 1883-1941). Griffith was a Professor of English at the University of Texas at Austin and an eminent authority on Alexander Pope and his works.
