Description:

Album, not completely filled, containing 88 photographs (76 cartes-de-visite, some hand-colored; 10 hand-tinted tintypes). The portraits appear to be members of an unknown family. The album, which measures 16 x 23 cm, is bound in light brown morocco leather. The cover has a central decorative metal band with plastic inlays and at center is a brass monogram bearing the initials A.T.E. The cover also has recessed panels; a metal locking clasp; gilt edges, and silk-lined inner boards and endpapers.
