The Visions of Texans / Visiones de Tejanos collection consists of 125 photographs by 26 different photographers and treats various aspects of Texas culture. These photographs were originally part of an exhibition jointly sponsored by the Texas Photographic Society, Instituto Cultural Mexicano, and the Texas Committee for the Humanities. The exhibition opened in September 1988 in San Antonio and then toured in Mexico. A catalog of the exhibition, Visiones de tejanos = Visions of Texans (Austin, Tex.: Texas Photographic Society, 1988) is also available in the collection holdings (TR 646 U6 S143 1988 HRC-P).
