Description:

Unpublished album, titled "España," dating to the 1860s, containing: 89 photographs by Charles Clifford (English, 1819-1863); 1 photograph by Juan Laurent (French, 1816-1886); and 60 photographs by an unidentified photographer(s). The photographs are large salted paper and albumen prints from waxed paper and collodion negatives. The photographs are of Spanish landscapes, cities, works of art, and various group portraits.
