Description:

Photographically illustrated volume titled Panorama de Constantinople Pris de la Tour de Galata that dates to circa 1895. The volume consists of 10 albumen prints by Sébah & Joaillier (Turkish, active 1888-1908) that are mounted on thick card and bound in accordion-style folds to form a continuous panorama of Constantinople (i.e., Istanbul) when the album is unfolded.
