From the colophon: "One hundred twenty-five copies ... have been signed by Guy Davenport for this limited edition. An original photograph printed by Christopher Meatyard from his father's negative is laid into copies 1-100. Copies I-XXV accompany the portfolio edition, which contains the full suite of fifty-two photographs, including two prints not published in the trade edition." The Ransom Center's copy is number 56.
