The collection consists of 46 photographs of and related to author and poet Charles Norman (American, born Russia, 1904-1996). The majority of the prints are portraits of various people, including Norman, E. E. Cummings, Ezra Pound, and Thomas Wolfe. Also included are twelve stills from a TV production of A Journey of a Night, and a group portrait of Man Ray, Hilaire Hiler, Walter Miller, Ezra Pound, Lew Copeland, Vernon Campbell, Curtis Moffet, Tristan Tzara, and Jean Cocteau taken in 1923.
