Contact for Walter Pater 1839-1894
Critic, novelist, writer on art, fellow of Brasenose College, Oxford (where he spent most of his life). He died intestate, but his estate passed to his sister Clara Ann Pater of Oxford. On the death of Clara Ann Pater in August 1910, the estate passed by her will (probate London, 15 October 1910) to another sister, Hester Maria Pater. More recently it is believed that permissions have been granted by a Miss C. M. Ottley. No copyrights remain extant in the USA from 2003, and all published works are in the public domain in the UK.
