The copyrights of George Santayana passed on his death to his literary secretary Daniel Cory, and on Daniel Cory's death in 1972 to his widow Margaret Cory. Margaret Cory died in 1995, and the current copyright situation has not been established. One source suggests that the copyright holder might be Mrs Cory's nephew Peter Degen.
