Nathalie Mauriac Dyer is the preferred contact for US requests. Patrice Mante-Proust is the preferred contact for requests from other countries. The two contact persons are the appointed representatives for the Héritiers de Marcel Proust, who control copyright interests for Proust's estate. Writings by Proust, published and unpublished, are out of copyright in France and hence other European countries, but works first published posthumously after 1925 may be copyright-protected in the USA only.
