Contact for Jack London   1876-1916

The copyrights of Jack London were administered by Irving Shepard from 1955 until his death in 1975, and thereafter by Dr I. Milo Shepard on behalf of the Trust of Irving Shepard. Before his death in 2010, Milo Shepard transferred the rights for London to the Huntington Library. All of Jack London's writings are out of copyright throughout the world. All unpublished writings are in the public domain in the USA and the UK, and the Huntington does not require people to obtain permission to publish or quote from materials in the London Papers there.
