Since 2011 John Buchan's published works are out of copyright in the UK (with the possible exception of any posthumously published works) and in European Union countries. Works published since 1929 may still be in copyright in the USA only. United Agents deal with all rights for published and unpublished writings in the UK and the USA. Curtis Brown deals with film and television rights only.

WATCH and FOB are run jointly by the Harry Ransom Center and University of Reading Library.
