The Literary File of American writer
and artist Tom Lea consists of 326 items, which include images of Lea, his wife
and
other family members, and his friends. Also included are photographic reproductions
of some of Lea's paintings, images associated with the movie production of his
book
The Brave Bulls, and a series of photographs he
took of the Peleliu landing during World War II.
The Literary File of American writer and artist Tom Lea consists of 326 items, which
include images of Lea, his wife and other family members, and his friends. Also
included are photographic reproductions of some of Lea's paintings, images
associated with the movie production of his book The Brave

The photographs are organized in the order in which they were transferred to the
Photography Collection, and then by images of Lea, his family and friends, and
images associated with his work. Descriptions of images were derived by the
archivist based on inscriptions on print versos.
This file forms a part of the Literary Files photography collection, which is
comprised of photographs and albums withdrawn from the libraries and/or papers
of
literary figures and businesses, and generally include portraits and images taken
or
collected by and/or of those people and businesses.
