Interior view of an unidentified barber shop located possibly in Refugio or Woodsboro, Texas. Two barbers stand behind two customers in swivel chairs in a roughly furnished shop. On the back wall are a single mirror, a sink, and a small cabinet holding towels and a few bottles of hair tonic and talc. Note the can resting on the gas heater at left; this was used to increase the humidity in the room. Also note the ad for Murine eye drops on the wall and the door at right marked "baths." |
