Description:

One of two similar photograph albums, titled Photographs, with images dating from 1910 to 1912, likely compiled by Kate Ruby Bernice Leach (nee Ribble) (1882-1970). Leach was the wife of Martin Andrew Leach (1879-1962), who was the manager of the Madera plant of the Madera Company, Ltd., between 1910 and 1912. This album contains a total of 87 gelatin silver prints that include snapshots, panoramas, professionally printed images, and postcards (by L. V. Garcia). The images are mounted on black pages, and below each image is a caption in white ink. Subjects include Mexico City, Cordoba, Puebla, Madera Casas Grandes, and other locations through out Mexico, all taken during the Mexican Revolution. The album is inscribed: Property of Mrs. M. A. Leach.
