Description:

One of two similar photograph albums, titled Photographs, with images dating from 1910 to 1912, likely compiled by Kate Ruby Bernice Leach (nee Ribble) (1882-1970). Leach was the wife of Martin Andrew Leach (1879-1962), who was the manager of the Madera plant of the Madera Company, Ltd., between 1910 and 1912. This album contains a total of 107 gelatin silver prints that include snapshots, panoramas, professional photographs, and postcards. The prints are mounted on black pages, and each image is captioned in red grease pencil. Subjects include views taken in Madero and Durango, Mexico, between 1910 and 1912 during the Mexican Revolution.
