HARVEY P. VAUGHN
Harvey P. Vaughn (d. 1940?) was a real estate and insurance broker in Greenwich Village during the 1920s. Advertisements contemporary to the period reveal that in 1921 his business was located at 57 Greenwich Avenue. By May of 1925, however, it had moved to 5 Christopher Street, across the street from the Greenwich Village Bookshop at 4 Christopher Street.

This advertisement for Vaughn's business appears in the first issue of The Greenwich Villager (July 9, 1921). Vaughn is also listed in the periodical's masthead as the President and Treasurer of the Greenwich Village News Company, the publisher of the Villager. The company's address is given as 57 Greenwich Avenue, the same location as Vaughn's real estate business that year.
