J. VINCENT CROWNE
Joseph Vincent Crowne (dates unknown) was an academic in the fields of English literature and this history of Catholicism. He received his Doctorate in Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania in the late 1890s. Beginning in 1900, he worked as an instructor at the City College of New York, teaching and writing about early English devotional poetry.
