Courtenay Lemon (d. 1933) was a socialist activist and theater critic who is best remembered today for his love affair with the writer Djuna Barnes, which lasted from 1917 to 1919.

A scrapbook containing ephemera from a Theatre Guild production of George Bernard Shaw's The Devil's Disciple, undated
Several layers of photographs and clippings on these pages document the performance and reception of this play, produced at the Garrick Theatre in New York in 1923. Lemon and Ernest Boyd are listed in the program as members of the Play Reading Department for Lawrence Langner's Theater Guild.
