Each signature may be linked to the others by up to 53 thematic connections. Some are common to many signatures; others highlight unusual, yet notable, associations and interests. Friendships are not represented because so many signers were friends. Go to "The Bohemians" to view and interact with all 53 connections.

This tag represents typographers, designers, and other artists and craftspeople who worked with their hands to produce books and magazines. Illustrators, who are a large community on the door, are not included here since they are represented by their own tag. It is likely that many more signers than those we are aware of were in fact involved in book and magazine production at the time, since so many small publications came out of the Village and other communities where the shop's visitors lived.
