This tag was originally created to represent the large number of editors who worked at publishing houses, as opposed to editors who worked for magazines. It has been expanded to include signers who served as the editors of anthologies and other collections of texts in book form, whether they worked at a publishing house or not. Many aspiring writers worked as editors to support themselves. Some went on to become major figures in the publishing industry.
